About
Our nephew Tom Close died suddenly at the age of 20 undertaking pilot’s training. Tom became aware of fly2help through time spent at Cranfield Airport. It is fitting that in Tom’s memory we are supporting this amazing charity, giving adults and children in difficult circumstances new horizons and happy memories to lift their spirits.
Our cycle challenge will fund the 2018 Luton based ‘aim high’ initiative for a 10 teenagers to have work experience hosted by Signature Aviation. They will experience a range of supporting roles in aviation and meet people who are potential future employers, including easyJet and Monarch. We need 5K for this programme. After we have crossed this first hurdle funds will go to ‘Air Smile Days’. More details on link to ‘fly2help’.
All the riders are self funding so every penny raised will go to the ‘Aim High’ initiative or Air Smile Days.
Our team of 7 of all ages and sizes are committed to support this charity and be part of creating brighter horizons for local people.
Join us today by giving what you can to support us! Just get out a card and donate what you can spare.
Many thanks Rose and Jamie x
